San Beda Beats San Sebastian NCAA Finals Game 1 Season 86 2010

San Beda showed their mighty will to bring back the NCAA crown back to Alabang as they massacre the San Sebastian Stags on the court with a 93-73 win. They now lead the finals series 1-0.

Beda rallied their way to victory in the fourth quarter by outscoring the stags via 21-13.

Beda's mighty boy Borgie Hermida led Beda in scoring. He had 18 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.

“Nanalo kami by sharing the ball. Share namin ang ball tapos execute the play. Kasi hindi ito ang right time para mag-commit kami ng mistake,” Borgie said.

They are now one win away from clinching their new championship. They are the favorites to win the championship because of their overwhelming thrice to beat advantage because of their regular season sweep.

In the first half the score was in favor of Beda via 44-40. The game was close until the early minutes of the third quarter. It was in the last 2 minutes of the 3rd quarter when Beda got hot and they pulled away from then on.

The leading MVP candidate Calvin Abueva together with Ronald Pascual paved the way for the Stags. Abueva had 16 points and 6 rebounds.

If ever San Beda wins the series they will give their school its 15th championship while Baste is going for their 13th championship.

    "San Beda" and not "Beda".
San Beda is in MENDIOLA, not ALABANG.
Borgie Hermida is Mighty Kid, not Mighty Boy.
and the Finals started with 1-0, the Red Lions with a thrice to beat advantage after sweeping the eliminations 16-0.

San Beda won Game 1 and Game 2, making the Finals race 3-0, and the Red Lions' season record, and historical record - 18-0.

Get your damn facts straight man.
