The defending champions,the B-Meg Derby Ace goes for a second straight win against Barangay Ginebra but they failed to do it. As they lost to the rampaging Gin Kings led by Rudy Hatfield's monsterous performance. The Gin Kings won via 93-82.
Rudy Hatfield was the best player of this game. He registered a double double performance 14 points and 13 rebounds. He and Ronald Tubid both have 14 points.
James Yap tried his best but they came short because of lack of firepower. He had 25 points and 3 assists.
In the first quarter of that game Ginebra already got a 15 points advantage because of their hot three point shooting coming from Willie Miller. The huge run by Ginebra was led by JJ Helterbrand who scored five quick and continuous points, which is highlighted by a three-pointer.
In the third quarter Ginebra posted its biggest lead which is at 28 points.
B-Meg tried to catch up but its already too late.
In the fourth quarter they made a little run coming from James Yap and Roger Yap but they fell short.
