AJ Banal Beats Luis Perez By Disqualification

It was an unexpected ending as AJ Banal wins over Luis Perez via disqualification. Their match was held at the Waterfront Hotel & Casino last Saturday night.

Luis Perez has a dark thing in mind as he gave a right cross directly at the head of Banal that made him fall to the canvass and momentarily loss his balance. This made the officials to decide that Perez should be disqualified. He was indeed disqualified as the fight was stopped at the 1:47 mark of the 7th round and AJ "Bazooka" Banal was ruled to be the winner.

In the judges' score cards Banal was the unanimous winner. They gave 59-55, 59-55, 60-54 all rounds in favor of Banal.

Banal had dominated all the previous rounds of that very exciting and very heated match.

Luis Perez became desperate and he carelessly attacked Banal to the extent that he used his dirty tactics such as heating him on his head. That is a very dangerous blow and so he was disqualified.

    Congrats AJ Banal!
