Kobe Paras has been making a lot of noise in the United States not only because of his undeniable basketball potential, but also because of the comments of basketball coaches and scouts.
Just recently, UCLA Bruins head coach Steve Alford compared Kobe Paras of the LA Cathedral High School to his former player in college, Minnesota Timberwolves hot-shot rookie Zach LaVine.
“He (referring to Coach Steve Alford) just compared me to Zach LaVine. He said that my basketball IQ was kinda better than his, and we’re both athletic. So it was cool that he said that because no one really compares me to anyone. It was kinda great, especially coming from him, the head coach,” Kobe shared to Bruin Sports Report (BSR).

Zach wore the UCLA Bruins jersey in the US NCAA last season. In his first year with the team, he made it to the prestigious Pac-12 All-Freshman Team. He then decided to go pro after his freshman year.
Kobe will try to follow Zach's road in 2016 when he finally gets to wear the much coveted Bruins jersey.
