For the 17th time, the Philippines bags the gold medal of the SEA Games 2015 men's basketball competition by virtue of the Gilas Cadets' 72-64 victory over Indonesia on Monday in Singapore.
The Indonesians were a lot different in this game compared to their preliminary round match against the Nationals wherein the Philippines blew them out by 20+ points. This time they defended well and they showed different offensive patterns that baffled the Gilas Cadets. But that did not stop the Filipinos down the stretch as they win another crown for the passionate basketball fans in the Pearl of the Orient.
