The Tigers started the match producing a 6-0 run from Aljon Mariano and Jeric Teng's charities. But the Archers' Norbert Torres who had 16 pts., 12rebounds, and 4 assts. who was aided by their two talented new players Mark Tallo who had 6pts, 6rebs, 4assts and Jeron Teng who had 14 pts. slashed their deficit and tied the score to end the 1st Quarter, 15 all.

Norbert Torres still blasting in the 2nd quarter taking advantage of the early penalty situation of UST that fastened a wide lead for the Archers, 39-30 to end the the first half.

The Archers carried their momentum on the 2nd half which made UST shoot desperation 3-point attempt from Jeric Fortuna who notched 13 pts. and 5 rebs. plus A. Mariano who had 19 pts. and 6 rebs. and Kevin Ferrer who had 13 pts. and 10 rebs., but they experienced a shooting that kept them down by 10 pts in the last quarter.

In the last 5 mins. on the game clock, Clark "Tata" Bautista was able to add more points for UST that cut their deficit down to 5. But due to lack of time and unstoppable basket from Norbert Torres, it forbid the Tigers to climb on the standings.
