The OKC Thunder recently traveled to Chi Town to face the Chicago Bulls, and being one of the closest friends of Bulls star Derrick Rose in the NBA, Russel Westbrook and Kevin Durant got asked by the media on what they can say about D-Rose’s most recent injury (Meniscus Tear) and his possible return.
The two were very confident that Rose can come back to his old dominant form primarily because they know how hard-working and dedicated D-Rose is when it comes to his craft.
“Very confident,” said Westbrook when asked by the Bulls.com writer regarding D-Rose’s return. “I’ve talked to him numerous times. He’s a tough guy, as you guys know. He does a good job of coming out competing. It’s unfortunate he had to be hurt and out another year. But he’s going to come back the same D Rose he was before,” added the dynamic OKC guard.
Thunder skipper Kevin Durant also share the same sentiment regarding D-Rose. He's also confident that Rose can comeback strong.
“I’m very confident he’s going to come back. He works extremely hard and the medical staffs that we have in this league, around this country, are so advanced that he’s definitely going to get the right treatment. I’m confident he’s going to come back and I’m sure the organization, the Bulls organization, the Bulls’ fans, are confident, as well,” declared KD.
