Siot Tanquincen New Head Coach of Ginebra in PBA Season 37? SMC Re-Shuffling Their Coaches

Just like what happened before between the Ginebra Gin Kings and San Miguel Beermen wherein Coach Jong was brought to Ginebra while Coach Siot was shifted to San Miguel, the SMC Corporation will again re-shuffle their coaches for the PBA Season 37, but this time, the only difference is that the re-shuffling of coaches will happen only within Ginebra. The head coach last PBA Season 36, Coach Jong, will become the assistant Coach this time and the assistant coach, Siot Tanquincen will be the new head coach. Siot is back to call shots for the Ginebra Gin Kings.

The San Miguel Corporation president and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Ramon S. Ang
was the one who confirmed the re-appointment of coach Siot. He said that:

“Kapag masama ang tayo ng team, kailangan ng kaunting balasa. Basta within the family lang din. Sila-sila lang ang magpapalitan diyan at walang mawawala. Magro-rotate muna."

Yeah, Mr. Ramon Ang has a point there. The Gin Kings didn't do well in the PBA Season 36. They only managed to have a 34-24 win-loss record throughout the whole PBA Season 36. They definitely need a new look especially in the coaching position.
