After winning several basketball titles in the NCRAA (National Capital Region Athletics Association), the Lyceum of The Philippines University Manila Campus is looking to strut their stuff in the upcoming NCAA 2011 which will open on July 2, 2011, Saturday.
The NCAA has admitted the Lyceum of The University Manila as a guest team in this year's NCAA after they've met all the necessary requirements of the oldest collegiate league in the Philippines.
Just like all the other teams in the NCAA, Lyceum will also undergo tight screening to determine the eligibility of their players. After they are cleared, they are good to go in the NCAA.
They will be joining these prestigious NCAA schools:
UPHSD, San Sebastian College-Recoletos (SSCR), Mapua Institute of Technology (MIT), Colegio de San Juan de Letran (CSJL), San Beda College (SBC), Jose Rizal University (JRU), College of San Benilde (CSB), Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC), Arellano University (AU).
All in all we will have 10 participating schools in the NCAA including Lyceum which will take the position that was left by the Angeles University Foundation (AUF).
