A lot of people thought Chris Ellis cried when he heard the sad news that he will be traded to Blackwater along with Dave Marcelo. It's a trade wherein Ginebra, in return, will receive Art Dela Cruz, a former San Beda Red Lion skipper and Raymond Aguilar, a journeyman.
Apparently, Chris didn't cry according to coach Tim Cone. He was just very sad and concerned about his fans who support him unconditionally.
