Pound Fitness Session Launched during Makati Street Meet 2017

The Philippines get to experience the newest form of fitness regimen that's famous in other Asian countries called "Pound" last Saturday in Paseo de Roxas during the Makati Street Meet 2017 (an event organized in partnership with Karl Edwards– one of the biggest bazaar organizers in the country).

Pound is Pound, a cardio jam session inspired by the fun of playing drums-- the first of its kind to happen here in the Philippines.

Pound uses lightly weighted drumsticks to transform drumming into a full-body workout. It combines various trainings for cardio, conditioning, and strength with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. The infectious workout is the perfect avenue to let loose, get energized and toned up.

Pound's official launch in the Philippines came with a bang as fitness enthusiasts joined the cardio jam session side-by-side with the Makati Street Meet 2017 where Paseo de Roxas and the Ayala Triangle Garden's courtyard transform into a hub for fitness, unique foods, and entertainment.

The Street Meet began in 2016 and it has been making a huge buzz across the Metro.

If you're looking for an eventful afternoon where people from all walks of life flock into to get a a good dose of fun, food, shopping and fitness all rolled into one, Makati Street Meet is for you. So be sure to check it out!

I also tried pound. It's hard at first but just go with the beat and you'll be okay. Haha.
