Under Armour Test of Will 2017 Starts with a Bang!

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Under Armour , the leading developer, marketer, and distributor of branded performance apparel, footwear, equipment, and connected fitness platforms holds its second installment of the Southeast Asia-wide fitness challenge dubbed “Test of Will 2017” at Glorietta, Main Atrium in Makati on March 25 and 26 (Saturday and Sunday).

The inaugural Test of Will had a successful and promising turnout last year, with two Filipino athletes Zoe Pond-McPherson and Noelle Wenceslao emerging victorious in the exciting and heart-pumping competition.

This year's Test of Will got started with a bang as challengers from all walks of life and a number of celebrities flocked into the venue to exude their respective will-power. They all went beyond their physical limitations all the way to conquering new grounds.

Pushing the outer limits of strength and endurance, will-driven Pinoys (21yrs old and above) compete in a four-minute intense course that requires them to complete 60 seconds of four exercises such as burpees, one-arm thrusters, TRX row and sandbag throw.

One of the participants, Sir Jose Villablanca shared some of his event highlights. He said that "Today, I died 4 times thanks to Under Armour Southeast Asia Test of Will 2017. 4 exercises. 1 minute each with only 20 seconds break between each exercise. That's 5 minutes of hell. Hell was fun."

Another participant, an engineer from Davao also shared his own Test of Will journey.

Aside from the Philippines, countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei and Indonesia will also be hosting their own qualifiers.

A total of 12 competitors from the six aforementioned nations will go head-to-head inside the highly-touted structure, which contains different fitness zones with calisthenic exercises.
