After leading the Ateneo de Manila University to victory in game 1 of their UAAP Season 77 Men's Volleyball Finals against the NU Bulldogs, Marck Espejo received praises from his coach, Oliver Almadro.

"He's very consistent. If he commits an error, he makes up for it right away. That's the character of a true MVP. He didn't give up defensively and offensively," Coach Oliver said about the reigning Rookie-MVP Espejo.

Espejo fired a total of 31 points to help Ateneo get the convincing 4-set victory in game 1: 25-19,30-28, 20-25, 25-22. With him at the forefront of this big momentum booster win, they are more than ready to face the Bulldogs in game 2 on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
