The De La Salle University Lady Archers made a strong statement that they are in the league to win the Women's volleyball crown when they beat the 2010 V-League champions, Adamson University Lady Falcons.
La Salle's new setter, Maria Mikaela Esperanza had a great game. She had perfect sets for Jacqe Alarca who top scored for DLSU with 13 points in the form of 12 attacks.
The new hearthrob from DLSU, Michele Theresa Gumabao had great serves for her team. Meanwhile, Melissa Gohing was in her usual form and usual hard nosed defense as they go on to sweep, in three straight sets, the V-League Champions.
