Allen Iverson Turkey Career For 4 Million Dollars

Allen Iverson has left the NBA and he's now on his way to Asia particularly to Turkey.

He got an irresistable offer from the Turkish professional basketball team called Besiktas. The offer is worth 4 million dollars. It's a two year contract.

Iverson's manager Gary Moore said, “He’s ecstatic, he’s very excited, very happy the people in Turkey want him, the people in Turkey appreciate what he brings to the game, and he can’t wait to get over there."

Before he agreed to sign the contract with the Besiktas he was still giving some NBA teams a chance to send him an offer but they never came. Thus, he resorted to the Turkish team's offer.

He is a former MVP of the league in 2001 and he was a consistent all star player. Last season he averaged 13.9 points and 2 assists per game for the Philadelphia 76ixers.

There was also a time where he's the most famous NBA player and he had the best seller jersey honor.

Now his NBA career has been closed and now he's in Asia looking for a career.

Iverson is now 35 years old. He should be building his own business but it was not in his plans.

Iverson's former coach Larry Brown said, “What he’s accomplished, I don’t think you want to see him end his career this way."

I'm still hoping that all will end up well for this fighter!
