B.LEAGUE fans rejoice as the "B.LEAGUE FINAL Week in Manila 2025" has gone underway. Scheduled to be a 4-Day event that's filled with basketball activities that will energize everyone in Gateway Mall Event Center in Cubao, Quezon City.
Being true to the league slogan: "Break the Border" this momentous event will make the Japanese brand of basketball closer and more popular in the Philippines because of the holistic community approach that's part of the core principle of the B.LEAGUE. As a testament to its commitment, the event kicked-off with an amazing basketball clinic headed by Bobby Ray Parks Jr. of Osaka Evessa and the clinic supervisor Shinji Tomiyama. Around 50 children, a vibrant mix of local Filipino basketball club members and Japanese students, hit the court. The young ballers got some dose of sound fundamentals from one of the league's best. It highlights the importance of the proper development of the grassroots level.
Aside from honing their dribbling skills, the hoopers also got hands-on lesson in healthy living emphasizing proper hydration in partnership with Pocari Sweat, fostering deeper connections and a shared passion for the sport.
The clinic will be followed by the B.Hope ASIA 3x3 Challenge with Kawasaki Brave Thunders' Matthew Wright and then by the much anticipated B.LEAGUE FINALS Watch Party with Dwight Ramos of Levanga Hokkaido and Kiefer Ravena of the Yokohama B-Corsairs during the weekend. The players, the coaches, the referees, and the fans will be able to elevate each other throughout the whole experience as the above mentioned players will share not only tips but also their respective stories about their B.LEAGUE career and league happenings.
Beyond the court action, the B.League Final Week in Manila is set to continue its mission of championing the power of community with the "Pass It Forward" program. Attendees are encouraged to bring their used basketball jerseys on Days 3 and 4, contributing to a meaningful cause that will benefit underprivileged kids and spread the joy of basketball even further.
