It's now official! the reigning PBA Governors' Cup 2016 champion Barangay Ginebra has added another athletic player in the person of Paolo Taha.
Mahindra agreed to trade Taha in exchange for two promising seldomly-used guards of Ginebra Dennice Villamor and Frank Bonifacio.
Now, if Ginebra fans will go back to the previous conference, Taha is one of the players who performed really well against the Gin Kings. Now that he's part of the Never Say Die squad, its million of supporters will gladly welcome him with open arms as evidenced by this fan art photo that was done moments after the news broke out.
To those who are not familiar to Taha's style of play, he is like Jimmy Butler of the Chicago Bulls. He has a decent outside shot, dependable slashing ability, and lockdown type of defense. In short, he is a near-perfect player already early in his career. Just a little polishing here and there and he will be a monster! I'm sure Coach Tim Cone is excited to work with this baller.
