KD 9 now Available in the Philippines: Price, Photos, and Availability Here!
After being revealed a couple of months back during the Nike Innovation Summit in New York, we can finally get our hands on Kevin Durant's most advanced shoe yet - the Nike KD 9.
The first time Kevin Durant wore his latest signature shoe, the Nike KD9, on court, he scored 33 points. “My interests have changed, my game has changed and this is a perfect shoe for who I am now,” says Durant. The shoe, by designer Leo Chang, introduced Flyknit technology to the KD line and, with it, a refined fit engineered for Durant’s fluid playing style.
Shoe details:
1. Boasting of a Flyknit upper on top of a Zoom Air bag unit running from heel to toe, the shoe was developed over three years of advanced footwear testing.
2. The Zoom Air bag is 16 mm thick at the heel but narrows down to just 10 mm at the forefoot. This feature aims to provide impact protection in the heel while still giving that snappy feel while pushing during jumps, cuts and runs. This is also the first time Flyknit is used on Durant's signature shoe.
