    Smart Gilas Pilipinas Line-Up, 12-Man Roster for Asian Games 2014 in Incheon Korea




    The final 12-Man Line-up of the Smart Gilas Pilipinas National Team for the Asian Games 2014 in Incheon Korea is already out. Coach Chot Reyes himself tweeted it.


    Please note that Andray Blatche will not be part of the line-up because of eligibility issues while Jayson Castro is nursing an Achilles tendon injury.

    The Asian Games will start on September 20 up to October 4. All in all there will be 16 competing teams in Men's Basketball. Mongolia, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Maldives, India, Palestine, Kazakhstan, and Saudi Arabia are the unseeded teams. They will have to slug it out in the preliminary round if they want to advance in the next phase. Philippines on the other hand is part of the seeded teams along with Qatar, Jordan, Chinese Taipei, China, South Korea, Iran, and Japan.

    The tournament venues are: Samsan World Gymnasium and Hwaseong Sports Complex.
