Kevin Racal looked like he's back on track as he heavily helped the Letran Knights to achieve a spotless 4-0 record after a thrilling win against the DLS-College of Saint Benilde Blazers by only one point, 61-60 in their First Round meeting in the 89th Season of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
It was a very tight game and Coach Caloy Garcia of the Letran Knights put it perfectly why the game went that way.
"I don't know kung saan kami mag-aadjust, but basically we're missing our free throws" said by Letran Knights head coach Caloy Garcia.
Imagine, the Letran Knights missed 17 free throws in this match. That made the game tighter especially when the Blazers were making some little runs while Letran was missing some freethrows.
That was the story of the ballgame. It was very tight that the game reached a point where 3 freethrows were given to Luis Sinco for a chance to tie or even win the game. Unfortunately for the CSB fans, Sinco missed all his 3 freethrows.
That literally gave the victory to the Knights, 61-60.
Meanwhile, in the first game, the Perpetual Help Altas tallied their 3rd win as they beat the upbeat Lyceum Pirates, 71-66.
Coach Aric Del Rosario bragged about the trust that be bestowed upon the scoring lefty, Juneric Baloria who proved to be worthy of Coach Aric's trust in all their games this season and in the preseason league as well.
Juneric carried the Altas in this game en route to this big victory.
