Mike D’antoni said that he wants to to give Dwight Howard more touches and more opportunities to score. He wants to do that via the tried and tested pick and roll play. GameTime believes that it can be effective especially once Steve Nash comes back from a leg injury because he is very familiar to D’antoni’s system. GameTime also explained how Dwight can score in Mike D’antoni’s system. Check out the video explanation. Their explanation sounds convincing especially when you imagine Dwight dunking off a pick and roll play with Nash.

By the way, D’antoni has yet to join the Lakers in their game against Houston today. He might already join them on Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets.
