Jimmy Alapag Is The PBA Press Corps Player of The Week

Jimmy Alapag is the PBA Press Corps Player of The Week for the period Nov. 19 to 25.
He averaged 18.5 points, 5.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds this past week.

He’s no longer part of the starting 5, but Jimmy was still able to put up some impressive numbers last week. That’s how good he is.

His leadership skills and his penchant to score when it matters the most for Talk ‘n Text were the biggest reasons why he was hailed as the PBA Player of the Week.

Talk ‘n Text is now assured of atleast a playoff berth for the No. 2 spot and its accompanying twice-to-beat advantage in the ensuing quarterfinals.

"The last two games he has given us a big lift with his offense. He has really shot the ball well, especially from long range," said TNT coach Norman Black of the 34-year-old playmaker.
