    Jimmy Alapag Once Again Carried Talk n Text To A Win Against Powerade In Game 2: He Is The Closer!

    Jimmy Alapag once again proved that he is the biggest key if they ought to beat Powerade in less than 5 games in the PBA Season 37 Philippine Cup Finals as he delivered some important points for the Tropang Texters that ignited them to seize a 2-0 advantage in the series.

    Thru Jimmy's efforts, the Talk n Text Tropang Texters are now leading 2 games to none in their Best of 7 Finals series against Powerade. They toppled the "underdog" Powerade Tigers and finished Game 2 with a final score of 102-96.

    Alapag, indeed, closed the match as he dropped unstoppable successful treys that merited him the best player of the game largely because of his 23 points and 3 assists.

    Powerade, who already have Casio on the floor, certainly, gave TNT a tough game by forcing 6 deadlocks in Game 2. However, they failed to snatch the lead in the more important 2nd half. Despite having produced a 16-5 run from Adducul and David that enabled them to a make the game closer, 94-93 in the 4th Quarter. But TnT continued burying successful buckets and responded with a 7-0 run that cemented game 2 for TNT.
