Kobe Bryant and Tony Parker To Play in China While There's NBA Lockout

The 2011-2012 NBA Season may not open in late October because of the Lockout that's why some of the NBA Superstars are on a look-out for a possible overseas exposure. Kobe Bryant and Tony Parker are just two of them.

Both Kobe and Tony was reported to have received contract offers worth 1.5 million dollars salary per month from a professional basketball team in the Chinese Basketball Association. The two said that they are inclined to accepting the offers, but there's one thing that's stopping them from accepting it, it's the provision in both of the contract offers that aims to prevent a player from going back to the NBA once the Lockout stops and while their contracts with the Chinese team are still active. In effect they will not play in China as imports, but rather they will play there as regular players if they will accept the offers.

That provision in the contract is not favorable to Kobe and Tony because the Lockout may stop while the Chinese League is on going. That's the reason why they are thinking really hard whether to accept it or not.
