Jordan Lost to Chinese Taipei in Jones Cup 2011 Because of Wrong Calls?

The William Jones Cup 2011 which is being held in Taipei Taiwan, is now receiving several criticisms coming from their viewers especially here in the Philippines because of the questionable calls of their referees.

The Filipinos first noticed the questionable calls in the game between Smart Gilas Pilipinas and Chinese Taipei. In that game, Marcus Douthit and Jayvee Casio went into foul trouble because of those wrong calls, but fortunately coach Rajko Toroman was able to manage their fouls wisely that's why his best center and his best point guard didn't foul out. But still, those questionable calls halted Gilas from blowing the game wide open. Gilas was just trying to defend well against Chinese Taipei but when they tried to intensify their defense, most of the time the referees will call a foul even if it was obvious that the Chinese Taipei player just flopped. Thankfully we still won against them.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the first time that the Filipinos noticed those questionable calls. It also happened in the game between Jordan and Chinese Taipei. I'm speechless. Jordan just suffered their first loss in the tournament courtesy of Chinese Taipei. The final score was 77-75 in favor of Chinese Taipei.

Here are the videos of the latter part of the game between Jordan and Chinese Taipei courtesy of YouTube. You be the judge.
