MVP Race In FilOil 2011 Premier Cup Preseason Basketball: Bobby Parks Jr. Leads MVP Race
This year's FilOil Pre-Season has been dominated by the UAAP teams such as Ateneo and FEU. They both lead in their respective groups. This is because they have great players who can dominate at any given night. The top 5 players in the FilOil right comprises mainly of UAAP players. Bobby Ray Parks jr. is on the top. He averages 19.5 points per game and 7 rebounds per game. Pippo Noundou is on the second spot. He averages 11 points and 11 rebounds per game. Kiefer Ravena is on the third spot. He averages 14.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. Jam Cortez of Letran is in the fourth spot. He averages 9.4 points and 12.4 rebounds per game. And the one on the fifth spot is FEU's ace player, JR Cawaling. He averages 11.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. 4 out of 5 top players in this year's FilOil belong to the UAAP, and only Jam Cortez of Letran represents the NCAA. If Bobby Parks Jr. continues to play this way, he might end up as the MVP this year and he might be the first rookie of the year MVP in the UAAP Season 74 when it opens on July 9, 2011.
