Minnesota Timberwolves Still Wants Ricky Rubio To Be Their Point Guard For Next Season

The staff of the Minnesota Timberwolves led by Mr. David Khan are courting Ricky Rubio to come with them to the United States of America play for the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Timberwolves is one of the worst teams in the NBA right now and they want to have a fiery point guard to help Kevin Love bring back the lost glory of Minnesota. They personally went to Spain just to court Rubio. Rubio has been very elusive and he seems to have lost his interest to play in the NBA.

Khan said that they will try to court Rubio to sign a contract with the Timberwolves and they will give him 1 month to think about it. If he signs he will play for the Timberwolves in the NBA 2011-2012 Season.

This is the perfect time to ask Rubio because his team, the Regal Barcelona didn't make it to the Final 4 of the Spanish league. He is free to entertain teams who want his services. But, there is a problem, his team still has remaining elimination games to play in the Spanish league and he must give a 1 million buyout money if he wants to leave Regal Barcelona. The rules in the NBA is clear. An NBA team can only give as much as 500,000 dollars as a money buyout. The odds are against the Minnesota Timberwolves. They drafted Rubio two years ago and they are hoping that they can get him play this year but it appears that there will be several problems if they ask him to fly back to America.

Rubio is also thinking about the new collective bargaining agreement between the teams in the NBA and their players. If he'll sign a early as now he will not be entitled with the other benefits that might be provided in the new CBA. The time is ticking and he should make a decision or else Minnesota will leave him alone after a month.

Here's how Rubio plays.
