Alaska Beats San Miguel In PBA Season 36 Philippine Cup: LA Tenorio Showtime Once Again

The 5'7 170 lbs. Lewis Alfred Tenorio or otherwise known as Showtime LA Tenorio who came from Pandacan, and then played for the Ateneo Blue Eagles has once again carried his team on his shoulders and proves that height doesn't matter, as Alaska beats the rampaging San Miguel Beermen last night in the PBA Season 36 held at the Araneta Coliseum. They beat them with a score of 92-89.

Showtime LA drained the high-arching three pointer that gave them the lead. Before that, they were down by a whopping 31 points but the Aces never backed down. They made a rally and it reached its climaxed when LA made that winning shot at the buzzer to seal the fate of the league leading Beermen.

The Aces end their 2 game losing streak with a bang at the expense of the Beermen. That is a confidence booster.

Don Don Hontiveros, the cebuano hot shot also had a great game for the Beermen as he was able to tie the game at 89 via a three pointer. But, LA snatched the win to them with his own version of three pointer.

LA Tenorio was really intelligent. Knowing that they no longer have any timeouts he stepped up and hit the game winner.

Joe Devance had a conference high with 28 points and Sonny Thoss also held on the Bigs of the Beermen as Alaska win the game.
