Japeth Aguilar Eye Injury Update! Get well soon Idol!

It was unfortunate that Japeth Aguilar got his eye hurt accidentally by his own teammate Stanley Pringle during Barangay Ginebra's game against Alaska last night.

Many fans got scared because of what happened because it's a rare occurrence as Japeth usually shrugs off things like that but this time, it's different as he went into the sideline in severe pain.

It was a deep poke in the left eye of Japeth and no one can really tell how it will affect his campaign in this conference. He went off the court tallying 8 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 blocks.

It was midway in the 4th quarter that he got injured. He never returned to the game as he was immediately rushed to the hospital for examination. Good thing they won handily as they dominated the Alaska Aces via 102-83.

A quick update courtesy of Japeth's significant other Miss Cassandra Naidas ensued. And as it appears, the fans as well as the coaching staff can now breath a sigh of relief as the Ginebra high flyer is now safe.
