James Harden Entertains and Inspires Everyone During the adidas Free To Harden Freestyle Hub

NBA Superstar James Harden is a certified showstopper whenever he steps on the court, but who would have thought that he can also inspire and motivate thousands of Filipino basketball fans to be themselves. That they are free to follow the desires of their hearts, free to generate the strength needed to create the kind of life that they truly want, free to play how they play, free to step back and Free To Harden during his return to Manila for adidas’ Free To Harden Freestyle Hub last June 26 at the SMX Convention Center in MOA.

But before the night of awesomeness in SMX, Harden made sure to share some words of wisdom to the ballers at the University of the Philippines where adidas is refurbishing the College of Human Kinetics basketball court. Members of the National Wheelchair Basketball Team and the UP Women’s Basketball Team welcomed Harden via a short exhibition game.

The way they welcomed him is so unique compared to how they did it in China where he had to wear a Chinese costume.

On Wednesday, Harden got a huge dose of love from his fans in the Philippines as the adidas store in Two Parkade, BGC, was swarmed by the rabid basketball fans who did everything just to see him in the flesh. They were the ones who had the best recreation of his signature Step Back move. He also had his usual session with the media as he shares his take on the Rocket's NBA campaign and all the things that made his 2018-2019 Season memorable.

adidas continues to make lasting memories that the fans deserve especially with all the effort that they put in just to make their dreams of seeing him happen.

"At adidas, we believe we have the power to change lives through sports. And Harden's visit-with the incredibly warm welcome he received from ecstatic fans, we saw this to be true. His journey in becoming the player he is today is truly an inspiration to his Filipino fans," shared adidas Philippines Brand Communications and Sports Marketing Manager Jen Dacasin.

Going way way back to his demeanor since his High School Days in Artesia, James Harden has always exhibited a genuine love for being a trend setter. He continues to impact the game on and off the court with his creativity and unique sense of style. And that light that he carries, needless to say, illuminates his fans to do the same.

The life-changing positive vibe and the warmth of the Filipino fans in attendance at the Free To Harden Freestyle Hub all the more made James Harden say that it's great to be back in the country.

"It's great being back in the Philippines and I'm thankful to adidas and my fans for the warm welcome. I'm already looking forward to my next trip back here," highlighted James Harden.

Now, let's be real. The lights will go off, the echo of the fans' chants will dwindle... but the lessons that James Harden has shared will forever be in the hearts of the people as they follow the beat of their own drums.

I hope you will forever cherish his secrets to success as seen in the video below.

With all the buzz in the world of sports, you can always count on social media to stay updated. For more of this, you can use the #FreeToHardenManila hashtag so that even Harden flies out of Manila on the 27th, you can still follow his brand activities.
