Fresh from a win against San Miguel over the weekend, Ginebra all of a sudden figured in a trade that sent ripples in the PBA World. Sir Sev Sarmienta perfectly summed it up in a Tweet. So I guess it's now official! Stanley Pringle is now a Ginebra Gin King while Kevin Ferrer, Sol Mercado, and Jervy Cruz bid farewell to their beloved team as they transfer to NorthPort.

Role player and defender Jervy Cruz thanked everyone who helped him in his journey with Ginebra. He highlighted the lessons that he learned from his teammates and that he will carry it forever.
The Sol Train meanwhile narrated how he discovered that he got traded. He got sad but the messages that flooded his phone made him sane. Still, who would be happy when the news broke out. This is really a sad day for the fans.
