How sweet it is when we realize that the people we love care for us deeply through the ups and downs of our lives. Ginebra big man Japeth Aguilar must be so lucky that he has a Girlfriend who is exactly like that. Her name is Cassandra Naidas.
They met several years ago, but Japeth chose to play abroad in the US NCAA so their connection got hampered. But now, as destiny would have it, they are back together.
Time tested them, but their strings are stronger. And just recently, they got engaged. So congrats guys!
Looking at their pictures, you just get that kind of feeling that they are meant to be for each other. No matter what the condition may be, they got each other's backs for real.
Take for example what happened during Ginebra's OT win over Magnolia. Japeth had his share of bad plays but since his GF cares for him, they addressed the issue while enjoying the process.
I hope this also happens to all of us. We have to be that partner that our better half need through it all.
