The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters have secured a spot in the PBA Philippine Cup 2018 Quarterfinals after winning over San Miguel on Wednesday via 95-80. But coach Caloy said that they also want to win on Friday against Ginebra so they can get to the number 4 spot.
In effect, Ginebra is in for a big fight versus the Elasto Painters. Their game will be very interesting to watch not only because of the competition, but also because of a number of scenarios. Check it out below.

1. PHOENIX WINS OVER GLOBAL PORT & GINEBRA LOST TO RAIN OR SHINE
6.PHOENIX 5-6: +X+5+2-5 = +X+2
7.GLOBAL PORT 5-6: -X-7+15+25 = 23-X
8.GINEBRA 5-6: -5+7+15-17 = 0
BLACKWATER 5-6: +5-25+17-9 = -12
10. TNT 5-6: -2-15-15+9 = -23
Assuming Phoenix cannot win over Global Port by a huge margin.

But if Phoenix wins over GlobalPort and Ginebra wins over Rain or Shine, Ginebra has a clear chance to be in the Top 6 and they will face the Elasto painters in the quarterfinals best of 3.
