UAAP Season 79 Men's Basketball Schedule of Games / Game Schedule 2016

    Photo C/O Lifestylecent

As this year's host, the Pontifical and Royal University, the University of Santo Tomas (UST) will once again show its unique identity on September 3 during the UAAP Season 79 opening ceremonies inside the campus.

After the festivities, the men's basketball action will commence on the following day September 4 with a monster double-header. At 2PM it will be the UP Fighting Maroons taking on the Adamson Falcons. Both teams are on a rebuilding mode with the Jones Cup 2016 title holder coach Bo Perasol spearheading UP while the well-decorated college coach who propelled DLSU to basketball prominence years back, Franz Pumaren guiding Adamson to the right path after a disappointing UAAP Season 78. And then at 4PM the controversial UST Growling Tigers and coach Boy Sablan will try to turn a new leaf against the vaunted Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles who are on a high after landing the National Team's coach Tab Baldwin.
