Alyssa Valdez will be entering her fifth and final playing year for the Ateneo de Manila University Lady Eagles. And by the looks of it, she seems at peace with her impending exit from the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).
"I'm really happy na mag-eexit ako na ganun din yung papasok na mga teammates ko. Nakaka proud kasi sobrang hardworking yung mga rookies and of course yung mga ibang teammates ko," said Alyssa.
She's also positive when it comes to Ateneo's chances of sustaining its UAAP Women's Volleyball finals appearances with Bea de Leon, Jhoana Maraguinot spearheading the attack.
"Why not? I think it's aprocess e. Siyempre they have to train talaga. It really starts sa training e. So kung ganyan parin yung system, why not. Kaya naman e. I'm praying for them. Hopefully, hopefully," shared the Phenom.
