When BallersPinas asked Alyssa Valdez on who among the very talented crop of Ateneo rookies this year impressed her, she answered in full detail.
"Well ang tatangkad ng rookies namin sobra. Sobrang ganda na ng recruitment, not just samin but also sa other schools. Sobrang hardworking nila. Nakaka proud. I'm really happy na mag-eexit ako ng ganun. It's not just good for Ateneo but also for the Philippine Volleyball," the phenom said.
And right now based on their initial training sessions, her favorites are Kat Tolentino and Pauline Gaston a.k.a. Ponggay.
"Sa training namin, well si Kat ang Poongay. Unfortunately na injure sila. Hopefully maka get back sila agad. Let's pray for everyone's fast recovery para sa maganda nating UAAP Volleyball this coming season and for every tournament na manggyayari sa country natin," shared the very charismatic Valdez.
