When LA Tenorio spoke to BallersPinas about Gilas Pilipinas, he has nothing but well wishes for its future players heading into the FIBA Asia Championship 2015 in China this coming September.
"Well sa ngayon wala pa naman final line-up na lumalabas (footnote from the writer regarding the rumored Gilas pool members: Calvin Abueva, Asi Taulava and Troy Rosario with Andray Blatche on his way to Manila this weekend). So if ever may mga bagong players sa Gilas, contuinue to work hard. Sana dedicated and committed lang sila sa mga lahat ng gagawin nila. Whaterver happens sa National team, we're always here to support the team," said the spitfire pointguard of the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel.
With regard to the reason why he begged off from being part of the Gilas Pilas 2015 Pool: He said that he doesn't want to talk about it at the moment due to the sensitivity of the issue.
