Kiefer Ravena earned the praises of the a lot of basketball scribes and coaches after seeing him lead and nail that game winning shot against a group of veteran ballers from the USA in the charity game for Gawad kalinga last Wednesday night at the Mall of Asia Arena.
His shot was amazing. It amazed not only the fans but also the legendary coach Tim Cone. Coach Tim even said after the 98-96 victory of his team PCWorx, "Kiefer is a once in a lifetime talent and that it was a great experience coaching him and the other young guys."
As his closest rival in College Basketball (Ateneo vs. La Salle), Jeron Teng also praised the King Eagle.
"That's just Kiefer being Kiefer. Normal na sa kanya yun. I'm happy for him. Talagang happy," the King Archer said to BallersPinas.
When you're praised by your admirers, that's cool, but when your rival baller praises you, that's definitely a higher level of admiration. It means that you really earned his respect.
