Alli Austria ‘s Big Shot Extends The Game To 2nd Overtime to Take the Win for Cagayan Valley Rising Suns: PBA D-League

After leading by as much as 13 points in regulation of the match against Café France Bakers the Cagayan Valley Rising Suns collapsed at the end of the fourth and gave Café France the chance to extend the game to overtime.

During the first overtime, it was the Bakers who were leading the game until Jonar Huertas splits his free throws to make it 76-73, Café France lead. And with 6 seconds remaining in OT, Cagayan Valley guard Alli Austria buried a leaning 3 point shot over Maverick Ahanmisi to extend the match to a second overtime.

In the second overtime, the Rising Suns never looked back, Abel Galliguez nailed 10 of his 12 points in the last extension en route to the victory via 89-84. Moala Tautua’a had 26 points, Dilay with 13 and Austria with 11.

Alli Austria, the young gun who nailed the important three pointer in the first overtime that tied the game spoke to BallersPinas. He said that "in my head I just told myself I was gonna shoot it to make it. Then I told my teammates to stick together in the OTs. I encouraged everyone to fight thru for the win."
