THE PBA Season 40 All Filipino Cup officially opened yesterday at the Largest Domed Arena in the World, the Philippine Arena. The fans from all walks of life flocked into the world-class basketball venue to watch the opening ceremonies and the games.
The first game of the Season featuring the newcomers KIA Sorento and BlackWater engaged on a shootout with the 5'7 LA Revilla scoring heavily for his team. KIA ended up winning the game, 80-66. Meanwhile, Ginebra prevailed in the second game against Talk 'n Text, 101-81.
The 52, 612 people who watched the games live got their money's worth.
