Gilas Guard Jayson Castro Says Sorry To A Filipino Basketball Fan: Check Out The Instagram Photo

    Photo of the day:

The Photo was taken after the Philippines’ unfortunate loss against one of the world powers in basketball Team Argentina via 85-81 in the preliminary round of the FIBA World Cup 2014 in Spain.

Jerome_aka_jerky shared the humbling story behind the picture by writing it in the caption. He wrote ""The Blur" Jayson Castro after our loss to Argentina. As I, a complete stranger and fan who just wants to take a picture approached him. His first words to me were "Sorry ha." Not even hi or hello. He said sorry. Tired and all. This man has nothing to be sorry about me. Who am I? But he apologized to me anyway. He has took the responsibility upon himself to bring our country glory so we can all be proud basketball fans. This man deserves respect! Thank you @jaywill_17 and God bless you Sir! #LabanPilipinas #Puso”

No excuses, no alibis, Jayson Castro humbly said those words, a testament that he wants the best for our country. This photo deserves to become viral on the internet.
