Manila, Philippines -- Arwind Santos of the San Miguel Beermen may have few problems on the hard-court as his team is doing well, seeded number 3 in the current PBA Commissioner’s Cup Team Standings with a 3-1 win-loss record, but it seems that he will have to face a different kind of battle that’s outside the playing court.
The PBA Star’s very own driver allegedly stole 100,000 Php worth of money that’s meant to be deposited into a bank. The driver was allegedly tempted to ran away with the hard earned money.
The driver himself admitted his infraction via a text message that he sent to Arwind’s wife Ivette Santos.
“Mam sorry ho kung tinakas ko ung pina deposit niyo. Wala naman talaga akong balak gawin yun kaso pinagalitan pa niyo ako. Kung may interes talaga ako, sana lahat na ng pera tinakas ko…,” admitted the driver via a text message.
The driver has not yet returned and the Santos family still has no clue as to his whereabouts.
