Kevin Durant of the OKC Thunder and Paul George of the
Indiana Pacers have been named Western Conference and Eastern Conference Players
of the Week respectively.
The two players have been playing great this season and they
have taken a major role in leading their teams to impressive win-loss records.
The Thunder is sitting pretty in the 3rd spot of the Western
Conference with a 31-10 record. The Pacers meanwhile is Number 1 in the East with a league best 33-7
record.
Kevin and Paul continue to soar higher and take their game
to the next level as they solidify their bid for the League MVP Honors.
The lanky
Durant is averaging 39.3 ppg, 6.5 apg & 4.8 rpg this Season leading the Westbrook-less OKC to new heights. He recently
reached a new milestone in his career few days ago when he torched the Warriors
with his 54-point game output. Prompting
the league to give him the player of the week plum.
Paul George on
the other hand is averaging 30.6 ppg, 5.3 rpg & 2.3 apg. He led the Pacers to an undefeated 3-0 week
with wins against the Sacramento Kings, New York Knicks and Los Angeles
Clippers. Indy won those three games by an average of 22 points, and George
shot a scorching 57.7 percent from the floor over that span (Bleacher Report).
