NCAA Games Today Were Postponed Due To INC Medical Mission

By Val Macanas

Manila, Philippines -- The NCAA Mancom via Sir Dex Castellano of the College of Saint Benilde has decided to postpone the scheduled men's basketball games today due to the overwhelming effect on the traffic of the Iglesia Ni Cristo Medical Mission in some parts of Metro Manila particularly in Recto near San Sebastian and FEU.

The scheduled games for today would have pitted the Final 4 seeking Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals and The rejuvenated Mapua Cardinals in the first game and then San Beda vs. Arellano in the 2nd game.

Millions of INC members are expected to flock into the medical mission's venue as well as in their relief goods program. That's why traffic jams and other related transportation problems are expected to happen.

The NCAA Mancom is concerned about the safety of the athletes and the students in general. That's the rationale behind their decision to postpone the games today.

The games will be re-scheduled ASAP.
