Manila, Philippines -- One of the most sought-after BIG-MAN that will join the PBA Draft 2013 this coming November 3 had a short, but meaningful conversation with BallersPinas.

Ian Sangalang, the 6'7 Center coming out of the San Sebastian Stags basketball program has been projected to be one of the top draft picks this year and luckily, we were able to talk with him about some draft related stuffs.

"Yes. Sasali ako this coming PBA draft. Sure na sure na 'yan," said Sangalang when we asked him if he's 100 percent sure about joining this year's draft.

Sanggalang also shared that he thinks it's nice to play for a team like Ginebra which has a lot of avid fans.

"OO. Masarap talaga sa Ginebra lalo na may mga ganyan na fans na sumusuporta kaagad sa'yo. Gusto ko din sa Ginebra matagal na," bared Sangalang who also admitted that as long as he's drafted by any other PBA team, he will be happy.

"Pero ako kahit anong team ako mapunta magiging masaya ako at maglalaro ako ng maayos."

Sangalang also addressed the PBA Fans' habit of comparing him with fellow hotshot Big Man Greg Slaughter.

"Sabi nga nila mas may potential ako pero diko nilalagay sa utak ko 'yon madami pako kailangan improve sa laro ko nasa sa kanila na 'yun. Kanya kanya namang opinyon 'yan," addressed Sangalang.

"Tsaka sila nakaka kita non at may kanya kanyang ini idolo syempre. Makikita yan pag naglaro na nakami sa PBA," he added.

We also asked him something about his former college coach, Ato Agustin who is now the Head-Coach of Ginebra.

"Coach Ato, he's a good coach. No question about it. Nagchampion sa NCAA ,PBL ,PBA.... Sistema niya ok at motivational coach siya," declared Sangalang.

The unassuming Big Man awkwardly ended the interview by thanking us. I said awkward because we're usually the first to say Thank You, but this time, our interviewee was quicker to say that. He's really a humble person. A definite sign that he will go a long way in his career.

"Thank you so much guys,"squeezed in Sangalang.
