Two prominent players that go by the initials “CB and SS” are allegedly being eyed by the Petron Blaze Boosters as the possible replacement of banned import Renaldo Balkman.
I don’t know about CB, but apparently, according to some Twitter updates, Petron is now more inclined to getting SS as their new import.
To those who don’t know who SS is, well, he is Mr. Samardo Samuels. He’s a 6'9", 260 lbs. power forward/center. He was a former Cleveland Cavalier that is now playing in the NBA D-League wherein he’s posting Big Numbers that have impressed scouts and GMs.
In fact, earlier he scored a whopping 29 monster points for the RENO Bighorns in a losing effort against the Santa Cruz Warriors, 110-103.
He can score, he can rebound, and he can do a lot of things on the court. He also has a wide shoulder that can surely overpower a lot of players on hardwood.
Petron has already sent an offer sheet to Samardo Samuels. If he obliges, we might see him playing for the Blaze Boosters sometime this March.
