Don’t you dare mess with a runner! That’s what Miss Josephine Quinones, a member of the Far Eastern University (FEU) Running Team proved when she caught a cell phone snatcher near Kalaw Street and United Nations Avenue (UN Ave.) yesterday.
Miss Josephine, a 17 year old year 1st year marketing student at FEU was in a jeepney when a minor suddenly boarded, phantom like grabbed her cell phone, pushed her and ran away.
Without any hesitation she immediately went after the snatcher. The fact that she’s a runner really helped as she was able to quickly catch up and corner the snatcher with the help of a security guard.
You already know what happened next. Josephine got her cell phone back and then the security guard brought the tough minded minor to the MPD headquarters located in UN Ave.
