Ginebra Changes Import: Herbert Hill To Be Replaced By...

Second Chances are rarely given in this world. That was proven by the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel when they dispatched Herbert Hill after a sub par performance in his debut game in the PBA Season 38 Commissioner’s Cup.

Hill shot 0/10 from the field during the 1st half of the BGSM vs. Air21 showdown last Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum. He ended up tallying a total of 17 points and 18 rebounds in a losing effort against the Express, 74-70.

Air21’s Dunigan literally dominated Hill in almost all aspects of the game. So much so that JayJay Helterbrand exclaimed after the game that they need an import like Dunigan, an import that can carry a team.

Lo and Behold, a news rumor broke out claiming that Ginebra has already dispatched Hill and that in their next game on Friday they will parade a new import.

Among the possible candidates who might replace Hill are Vernon Macklin, Tim Ohlbrecht, and Brian Butch.

One of those 3 candidates will be the new import of Ginebra in the PBA Season 38 Commissioner’s Cup.

If things will go according to plan, he (the new import) might already play in Ginebra’s next game which will be on Friday.
