Derrick Rose Might Go To NBA D-League?

Bulls GM Jim Paxson wants Derrick Rose to undergo full contact training in the NBA D-League, theorizing that this will help their Ace point-guard get into his usual physical and psychological state, making him 100 percent ready for combat once he makes his return sometime this February.

And as usual, the very humble D-Rose might try Jim Paxson’s suggestion.

The former NBA MVP might practice with the Bulls’ affiliate team in the D-League- The Iowa Energy.

Earlier in the NBA 2012-2013 Season, Knicks’ star big man Amare Stoudemire also trained in the D-League weeks before he finally re-joined the Knicks.

Spurs’ Kahwi Leonard also trudge the same path this Season.

What’s nice is that it has served them well.

D-Rose might be the 3rd NBA Player who will undergo the same process. Hopefully, he’ll be able to generate some much needed confidence in the D-League before he finally joins the Chicago Bulls.
