Barangay Ginebra San Miguel is on a 5 game losing streak in the current PBA Season 38 All Filipino Cup and the bad news just keeps on coming.
Here's another bad news that happened last night...
Dylan Ababou tried to elude a defender in Barangay Ginebra's game against San Mig Coffee last night at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum. He had a great first step... and then all of a sudden his right knee buckled. It twisted awkwardly. He can't seem to put some weight on his right knee. He was immediately brought to the locker room.
According to the news, Dylan heard a pop coming from his knee. Usually when a player hears a Pop like that, it can mean a serious injury. It can be an ACL or MCL Injury.
Apparently, it is an ACL injury. Dylan confirmed it via his Twitter Account. He will have to undergo a knee surgery to repair his torn ACL. The sad news is that he will have to be out for 6 months.
